Sybiha: Kyiv received four energy and Black Sea ceasefire proposals from US, India, Turkey, Egypt

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said Kyiv had received four proposals — from the United States, India, Turkey and Egypt — for energy and/or Black Sea or food ceasefires, with India’s described as the broadest. Ukraine says it is ready for an energy and Black Sea ceasefire only in combination, and also for an unconditional ceasefire on the current contact line; Moscow has rejected a temporary truce in favour of a comprehensive deal, according to the stated positions.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said Kyiv had received four separate proposals for limited ceasefires covering energy infrastructure and/or Black Sea shipping and food corridors, according to Censor.NET and related AP-syndicated coverage.

Four proposals, India’s the broadest

Sybiha identified proposals from the United States, India, Turkey and Egypt. India’s was described as the broadest. Turkey and Egypt advanced food and grain corridor ideas; Egypt depends on Ukrainian grain for about one-third of its needs and also imports Russian grain. The US proposal was framed as an energy ceasefire on the Zelenskyy–Trump track, according to Sybiha’s account as reported.

Ukraine’s combination condition; Russian position

Ukraine stated it is ready for an energy ceasefire and a Black Sea ceasefire only together: ending strikes on all energy facilities including port infrastructure, plus safety for Black Sea shipping. Kyiv also said it is ready for an unconditional ceasefire on the current contact line. Moscow, according to its stated position reported in coverage, has rejected a temporary truce in favour of a comprehensive settlement.
