UPS and Coca-Cola raise 2026 forecasts as US earnings season peaks
UPS lifted its 2026 revenue outlook to $92.6 billion and adjusted profit to about $7.28 per share after a quarterly beat, while Coca-Cola raised its full-year guidance to at least 5% organic revenue growth.
Two US bellwethers raised their annual forecasts on Tuesday, in a week when more than a third of S&P 500 companies report results.
UPS
United Parcel Service now expects 2026 revenue of $92.6 billion (previously $91.2 billion) and adjusted earnings of about $7.28 per share (previously $7.22), Reuters reports. Third-quarter adjusted profit was $1.69 per share, above the $1.63 analysts expected. The company said it is on track for $3 billion in cost savings this year, with $1.8 billion achieved by September, after closing facilities and scaling back low-margin Amazon deliveries. Shares rose 1.3% in premarket trading.
Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola raised its full-year outlook, now targeting at least 5% organic revenue growth, at least 9% comparable currency-neutral EPS growth and at least 11% comparable EPS growth, according to the company’s release.
Not every report was upbeat: Reuters noted that Hilton and JetBlue pointed to rising costs linked to the Middle East conflict.
