Global fashion brands treat Korea as a strategic partner, LF shows
Vince put a “Korean Exclusive” front and centre with more than 20 outerwear styles for Korea’s winter. Forte Forte and Isabel Marant also adopted Korea-led product and volume decisions, Seoul Economic Daily reported, citing LF.
Global fashion labels working with Korean retailer LF are treating the Korean market as a planning and marketing partner rather than a secondary sales destination, Seoul Economic Daily reported on 26 September.
Vince: Korea as a test bed
Vince’s preview via LF put a “Korean Exclusive” offering front and centre, with more than 20 outerwear styles — including down, cashmere and faux fur — aimed at Korea’s winter. Vince executive vice president Kat Kim said Korea is a key base to test ideas.
Forte Forte adopts LF proposals
Forte Forte took items proposed by LF — a jacquard bomber, a leather jacket and an eco-fur long coat — into its autumn/winter global collection. A Korea-proposed puffer was earmarked for Asia, including Japan and China.
Isabel Marant demand
Isabel Marant’s autumn/winter 2026 pre-collection sales in Korea rose about 20% year on year. Bekett shoe reorders followed; LF raised Korea Bekett volume by 180% year on year. An LF official said headquarters treat Korea as a strategic partner for planning and marketing.
