Paris Fashion Week SS27 opens with returns, debuts and 68 shows
The Fédération’s women’s ready-to-wear calendar runs 28 September–6 October with 68 shows and about 34 presentations. Vogue and WWD highlight returns for Maison Margiela and Valentino, plus debuts by Drew Henry at Courrèges and Kai Nesselrath at Carven; Louis Vuitton closes the week.
Paris Fashion Week for women’s ready-to-wear spring/summer 2027 opened on 28 September and runs through 6 October, with 68 runway shows and about 34 presentations on the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode calendar, Vogue reported.
Returns and debuts
Among houses back on the Paris schedule are Maison Margiela — creative director Glenn Martens focusing solely on the house after stepping down from Diesel — and Valentino, which showed fall 2026 in Rome. Sacai, Ester Manas, Christopher Esber and Casablanca are also among returning names, according to Vogue’s cheat sheet.
The season has two major designer debuts: Drew Henry’s first Courrèges outing on 30 September at 10:30 a.m., and Kai Nesselrath’s Carven show on 1 October at 12:30 p.m. WWD noted the week kicks off with Julie Kegels and includes Maxhosa Africa’s first official PFW show, with Louis Vuitton closing on 6 October at 6:30 p.m.
Third collections and off-schedule
Vogue also flagged third women’s RTW shows for Jonathan Anderson at Dior, Matthieu Blazy at Chanel, Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga and others after last year’s creative reset. Off-schedule, A$AP Rocky stages a fashion show on 30 September at Accor Arena ahead of his concert, and L’Oréal Paris holds its annual Eiffel Tower défilé on opening day.
