Miu Miu sales fall for the first time in four years as Prada Group growth slows to 1%

Prada Group's organic third-quarter revenue rose 1%, as a small gain at the Prada brand offset a 3% drop in Miu Miu retail sales, the first quarterly decline at the brand in more than four years. Middle East sales fell sharply.

Prada Group said on Thursday, 22 October, that its organic third-quarter revenue rose 1%, BoF reported. Retail sales at the Prada brand grew 1%, while Miu Miu fell 3% — its first quarterly drop in more than four years, after a 29% rise in the same quarter of 2025.

Nine months

Reported group revenue for January–September rose 12% to €4.54 billion, helped by Versace, which contributed €441 million, according to WWD. Excluding Versace and at constant currency, sales rose 4%. The Americas grew 29%, while Middle East sales fell 25% as the war in the region hit tourism.

“Time to digest”

Chief executive Andrea Guerra said Miu Miu had multiplied revenue almost five times in four and a half years and now needed time “to digest, to normalize”. Chairman Patrizio Bertelli warned that “market turbulence is likely to persist”. The Versace integration is on track ahead of Pieter Mulier’s creative debut in 2027, WWD reported.
