Veronica Beard hits $400 million revenue as founders plan measured global growth

Sixteen years after launch, founder-owned Veronica Beard reports about $400 million in revenue, 52 stores (46 in the US, six abroad) and a push into accessories, after opening five new stores in 2026 including Paris.

American contemporary label Veronica Beard has reached roughly $400 million in revenue while remaining founder-owned, Vogue Business reported on Tuesday, 13 October, as sister-in-law founders Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard shift from rapid store openings to more measured growth.

Scale and footprint

  • The brand has 52 stores: 46 in the United States and six internationally.
  • It opened eight stores in 2025 and five in 2026 (Raleigh, Jackson Hole, Paris, Princeton and Kansas City). Paris in June 2026 brought the European count to three after London shops in 2022 and 2024.
  • Channels are now a roughly even split of wholesale, physical retail and e-commerce. The core customer is women aged 35–50; blazers typically run about $700–800, most jeans under $400.

Strategy

Swanson Beard said fashion long catered to the US coasts while “a huge country in the middle” still needs clothes. Miele Beard said the pair want “managed growth,” not a race from $400 million to $600 million, and to “catch up” on product and brand message after the store wave. Minority investors include Andrew Rosen and Lew Frankfort; there is no private-equity control.

Accessories are the next growth bet: the brand hired Cristina Gómez Quintana, formerly head of Marc Jacobs accessories design, to lead bags. Shoes and belts are already rising. The founders aim to be “one of the most important American brands globally,” Swanson Beard said, while deepening US secondary cities and testing markets such as Korea.
